Recently, according to intelligence, Guangdong Yangjiang and Jiangmen Marine Police Bureaus successfully cracked two cases of suspected smuggling of frozen products, and seized two ships suspected of smuggling, involving seven people, and smuggled more than 110 tons of frozen products such as pig’s feet, pork bellies and beef tendons.

On November 22nd, Guangdong Jiangmen Marine Police Bureau learned that a ship was suspected of smuggling in the waters near Taishan Mountain in Jiangmen. The bureau immediately assigned law enforcement boats patrolling the nearby waters to the target waters for investigation. After comparison and investigation, the law enforcement officers quickly locked a gray iron-clad ship without ship number information. After the law enforcement officers boarded the ship according to law, they found that the ship was carrying more than 80 tons of pig feet and pig bellies suspected of smuggling frozen products, with a total case value of about 4 million yuan. And the three crew members on board failed to provide legal proof of the source of the goods and relevant legal and valid documents of the ship, and were suspected of smuggling.

On November 22nd, Guangdong Yangjiang Marine Police Bureau seized a suspected ship in the sea area under its jurisdiction according to the tip-off, arrested four suspects on the spot, and seized about 30 tons of frozen products such as beef tendon.
