According to previous reports, the Lakers signed a three-year, $186 million contract extension with Anthony Davis.

In the regular season of 2022-23, Davis averaged 25.9 points, 12.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game, becoming the third player in the history of the Lakers to average 25 points, 10 rebounds and 2 blocks per game in a single season since the 1973-74 season.

Previously, only shaquille O ‘Neill and Karim Abdul-Jabbar had achieved this achievement.
