The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently organized a third-party testing organization to inspect mobile phone application software and urged enterprises with problems to rectify. Up to now, there are still 157 apps that have not been rectified, and the above-mentioned apps should be rectified and implemented before January 29.
In addition, in the ten batches of testing organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, pea pods found problems accounting for 10.3%, and the main responsibility of platform management was not fully implemented. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has urged relevant platform enterprises to strictly implement the requirements of the Interim Provisions on the Administration of Preset and Distribution of Mobile Intelligent Terminal Application Software (No.407 [2016] of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) and implement the main responsibility of enterprises. In the follow-up, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will deal with the relevant enterprises with outstanding problems, ineffective orders and incomplete rectification according to law.
