作为刑事侦查技术员，在破获常发性盗、抢案件及大要案的同时，韩光禄想到能不能在群众反映强烈、影响大的电信诈骗案件上下工夫？2015年以来，鄯善县电信诈骗案件呈逐步高发态势，其中一起电信诈骗案件案犯以消防大队大队长的名义，谎称承包装修工程，向鄯善县境内的宾馆、酒店经理实施电信诈骗，涉案价值十余万元，在社会上造成了恶劣影响。电信诈骗案件一般多为无现场可勘的案件，但韩光禄积极串并案件，并对作案手段、方式、方法以及作案过程进行了分析，认为此案件应该能够提取到痕迹。功夫不负有心人，终于在报案人的手机上提取到已被删除的犯罪嫌疑人手机号等信息，在后期移送起诉的过程中起到了积极作用。
不分昼夜加油干
作为一名人民警察，韩光禄不仅在业务工作中成绩显著，平时也总是站在人民群众的角度，想群众所想、急群众所急。只要有案件现场，他顾不上吃饭、睡觉，不管是刮风、下雨，总能及时出现。遇到敏感节点或重大节日，韩光禄不畏艰辛，日夜坚守岗位，为身边的战友树立了良好的榜样。
