This year is the centenary birthday of our party.
Today is the 94th birthday of the People’s Army.
The six years from 1921 to 1927 were the arrival of one starting point to another.
The six years from 2021 to 2027 are the call of one dream to another.
In 1921, the great powers of the East opened the world, and the Communist Party of China (CPC) was born. In the next six years, this newly-established political party struggled to find out, from confusion to sobriety, from frustration to rising, stepping on blood, and finally understood a truth: "You should know that political power is obtained from the barrel of a gun."
1927年8月1日，南昌城头的枪声，像划破夜空的一道闪电。紧接着，秋收起义、广州起义以及其他许多地区的武装起义，点点星火迅成燎原之势，中国共产党开始独立领导革命战争、创建人民军队，中国革命的新纪元到来了。
历史的时钟，披着云霓和霞光，永远向前。
2021年7月1日，庆祝中国共产党成立100周年大会上，习主席庄严宣告：“中华民族迎来了从站起来、富起来到强起来的伟大飞跃，实现中华民族伟大复兴进入了不可逆转的历史进程！”

2027年8月1日，中国人民解放军将迎来建军100周年。
从建党一百年眺望建军一百年。此时此刻，每一名中国军人与祖国人民一道，共享我们党卓越的成功实践，共庆中华民族伟大的凤凰涅槃，同时也在聆听统帅的嘱托和号令，领悟这支党缔造和绝对领导的人民军队在新征程上肩负的历史重任。
以史为鉴、开创未来。在习主席“七一”重要讲话深刻总结的“九个必须”中，“必须加快国防和军队现代化”，郑重写入中国共产党这篇举世瞩目的“政治宣言书”。

Facing the pass of Qian Shan and the torrent of thousands of waters, without a strong people’s army, the party’s will and ideas cannot be realized, and there is no support for its rise and the guarantee for its rejuvenation.
On the new journey, we need stronger capabilities and more reliable means to defend national sovereignty, security and development interests and safeguard regional and world peace. In the historical process of building a socialist modern country in an all-round way and realizing the goal of the second century, we must put national defense and army building in a more important position and speed up the construction and consolidation of national defense and a strong army. At the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, our party clearly put forward the goal of "ensuring the centennial struggle of building the army in 2027".

——这6年，带着我们的憧憬。建军一百年奋斗目标，充实了国防和军队现代化的目标任务和发展步骤，形成了从2027年到2035年再到本世纪中叶国防和军队现代化新“三步走”的战略安排，铺展了新时代强军事业的发展蓝图。新的征程上，我们该怎样迈向下一座征战的主峰？
——这6年，带着巨大的势能。在最高领袖强军思想指引下，国防和军队建设2020年目标任务基本完成，赋予人民军队更强的实力、更大的自信，人民军队体制结构焕然一新，发展格局焕然一新，部队面貌焕然一新。第一个百年奋斗目标梦想成真，第二个百年奋斗目标已经起步，我们该以怎样的姿态和面貌继往开来、砥砺前行，埋头赶路、衔枚疾走？
