Tsai Ing-Wen is afraid that the "Wu Tong" will engage in exercises and be courageous and not anti-make a fool of oneself

CCTV News:Taiwan Province’s five-day "Hanguang Exercise" was launched in a high-profile manner on the 4th, only to be surprised again and again. On the first day, an F16 fighter plane crashed, and on the second day, it caused a mountain fire … … Some Taiwanese media ridiculed that "there is another package."

Get off to a bad start On the first day, an F16 fighter plane crashed into a mountain and the pilot died.

On the first day of the exercise, an F16 fighter plane crashed in Keelung Mountain.

The plane took off from Hualien base in the east at 13: 09 that day and disappeared on the radar 34 minutes later. In the end, the search and rescue found that the plane crashed and people died, and the wreckage was everywhere, which was terrible.

According to the description of the on-site search and rescue personnel, there were fragments as big as desks and parts as small as thumbs about 40 to 50 meters around the impact point. It was also found that the clothes, backpacks and armbands of suspected pilots had burning marks, and there were large areas of small pieces of meat and pilot’s underwear hanging on the tree.

Witnesses said that the plane crashed into the protruding ridge of the mountain. Researchers believe that after the plane crashed into the mountain, the pilot and cockpit skidded until it crashed into the valley.

As for why the plane crashed into the mountain? The explanation of the Taiwan military is: the initial judgment may be that the crash was caused by a combination of human and environmental factors, but the specific cause of the crash still needs further investigation.

Coincidentally, Wu Yanting, a 31-year-old pilot who died in the line of duty, had an accident while driving an F16 fighter five years ago. It was because of a mechanical failure that the plane crashed into the sea and he and another pilot parachuted and were rescued. Regrettably, this time I failed to survive again.

Misfortunes never come singly! The next day Tsai Ing-Wen went to the scene to watch Yamakaji.

After the tragic death of a fighter plane on the 4 th, the Taiwan military did not choose to stop the military exercise.

On the 5th, the accident happened again. The most embarrassing thing is that Tsai Ing-Wen was there to observe the accident.

 Tsai Ing-Wen (data map)

Early that morning, Tsai Ing-Wen took a helicopter to visit Taiwan’s Pingtung Jiupeng Base. Originally, it was to "inspect the live-fire shooting of precision weapons", but it is estimated that Tsai Ing-Wen himself did not expect that the exercise burned all the mountains.

According to the Taiwan military, during the exercise, two tiangong missiles in each group and three groups in total were launched. As a result, after one of the missiles was launched, an afterburner fell on a hillside not far away, emitting white smoke and igniting weeds. It was about an hour before the mountain fire was brought under control. It is estimated that the burning area is 29 mu.

The exercise caused Yamakaji to be densely covered with smoke (data map)

Want to enhance people’s confidence in the Taiwan military? Tsai Ing-Wen authorities were slapped in the face.

The situation has been constant since the beginning of the exercise. What is the military capability of the Taiwan military? Be clear at a glance.

Pro-green "Taiwan Province Public Opinion Foundation" released on April 23rd about "Right ‘ Guojun ’ The survey "Are you confident in effectively defending Taiwan Province" shows that only 9.6% of the respondents are very confident, 17.5% are still confident, 24.6% are not confident, and 40.8% have no confidence at all.

That is to say, before the exercise, about 65% of the respondents expressed no confidence in the Taiwan military. After two days and two accidents, I wonder if the rest of the respondents will waver.

As we all know, Tsai Ing-Wen authorities have a plan for this military exercise.

On June 2, two days before the start of the exercise, the Taiwan military released a short film entitled "Let’s Go Now" on Facebook, emphasizing that in the face of the pressure of the People’s Liberation Army’s "frequent long-distance training of aircraft and ships in the open sea and deterrence against the Taiwan Strait defense line", we should not take it lightly. If we want to deter the war, we must rely on strong combat power. Only through difficult, strict and practical training and exercises can we twist the "national army" into one.

Some analysts pointed out that Tsai Ing-Wen’s publicity was so great because Democratic Progressive Party’s constant promotion of "flexible Taiwan independence" made it more likely for public opinion on the island to judge the mainland’s "Wu Tong" against Taiwan. Tsai Ing-Wen authorities want to use the image of the Taiwan military as "majestic and mighty" to inspire the confidence of Democratic Progressive Party supporters and canvass for the election at the end of the year.

However, the effect can be imagined, and the "ambitious words" in the short film were slapped in the face in an instant. Just as military experts pointed out, "Hanguang exercise is a reality show that emboldens Tsai Ing-Wen", and it also screwed up.
