This round of rainfall in the south began to develop eastward from the southwest, and the Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a blue rainstorm warning at 10 am. It is expected that there will be heavy rainstorms in parts of Yunnan, Guangxi, Guizhou, Hunan, Hubei and other places today and tomorrow, including heavy rainstorms in northern Hunan, southern Guizhou and northwestern Guangxi, accompanied by strong convective weather such as short-term heavy precipitation and thunderstorms.
Tomorrow, the rainfall area will move eastward, and there will be heavy rain or heavy rain in parts of southern Anhui, eastern Hubei, western Hunan, northwestern Jiangxi and southeastern Guizhou. From 18th to 19th, the rainfall in southwest China will be obviously weakened, with heavy rainfall concentrated in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai. The meteorological department reminded that in the next ten days, the rainfall in the south is still frequent, and the accumulated rainfall is obviously higher than that in the same period of normal years. The risk of floods, flash floods and geological disasters in small and medium-sized rivers increases.
