Have you noticed that the QR code scanning boxes of WeChat and Alipay are disappearing?

This article comes from WeChat WeChat official account:Ai faner (id: ifanr), Author: Chen Wenjun, title map from: vision china

We scan the code almost every day, log in to the website, register information, pay for consumption, add friends … As long as we open it and scan it, we can save a lot of tedious steps.

Every time you turn on the tool to scan the code, these tools usually give a 1:1 scanning code box. Align the box with the QR code, and the mobile phone can immediately identify the information in it.

However, I wonder if you have noticed that even if these tools frame the "scanning area", sometimes scanning can be completed without aligning the frame. As long as the QR code is within the camera’s framing range, the system can immediately identify the content.

Then what’s the use of this box?

In fact, this has a lot to do with the purpose of each app scanning function. Looking at the 10 most commonly used apps in our daily life, the design of QR code scanning pages can be divided into several categories:

Fixed-area scanning is the code scanning mode that we are most exposed to at present. Users need to aim their mobile phones at the QR code scanning to make them recognize. If the target QR code is not in the frame, the app cannot recognize the content.

In some of our more commonly used apps, such as WeChat and Alipay, they have changed from "fixed frame scanning" to "full screen scanning", that is, the entire mobile phone screen is a scanning frame.

The mobile phone can recognize without facing the QR code, and the recognition speed is much faster than that of framed scanning. Before the camera is in focus, the system can recognize the information immediately.

The QR code can be recognized even if it is not in the box (the actual speed is faster than GIF).

Of course, there is also an example here. When I turn on Weibo code scanning, the page is designed with a fixed code scanning area, but the scanning mechanism of app is actually full screen scanning. So every time I prepare to scan, the information has been read before the QR code enters the box.

Is the designer lazy? Not necessarily.

It is obviously not enough to pry open the details of the scanned page, but also need to consider from many aspects, such as the hardware used for code scanning and the decoding ability on the software level.

In fact, it is not difficult to make the scanned code page full screen, but it is not unnecessary to vacate a box as the scanning area.

The reason is that when the QR code first entered our life, neither the app itself nor the code scanning equipment was specially optimized, and the success rate of code scanning was often related to the ambient light, distance and clarity of the QR code.

Personally speaking, the code scanning area provides a hint of code scanning recognition, and its task is to tell the user that the camera is ready for scanning, so long as it is aligned, the information can be read. As for the device itself, whether the camera can quickly identify the QR code has something to do with the focusing performance of the camera and the decoding operation ability of the processor.

The history of QR code can be traced back to the 1980s, but it didn’t begin to spread to our daily life until the past decade.

However, in the early days, the focusing response and speed of smart phones were relatively slow, and they were also easily affected by ambient light and lens clarity. Therefore, when developing app scanning pages, developers need to adjust the camera’s framing range to make the camera focus on a specific area, instead of focusing on a wide area.

The code scanning speed of the old mobile phone is slower than that of the new mobile phone (pay attention to the focus bellows and use Meizu MX5 test)

Simply put,Separating the code scanning area is actually to take care of the equipment with relatively slow focusing speed in the early days.. The principle is similar to the fixed-point focusing area of the camera. The camera only measures and focuses on the area within the square frame, thus reducing the interference of other factors around the target QR code, thus improving the camera focusing speed and the success rate of code scanning.

Looking at it from another angle, the code scanning box is not only a way to tell the user that the scanning function is on, but also a way to improve the recognition accuracy. As long as the key elements of the QR code in the box meet the requirements, the recognition accuracy is about 100%.

In order to enable users to scan codes in different environments and conditions, developers will integrate flash, remote automatic zoom, etc. when using scanning code development libraries such as zxing, all of which are aimed at enabling mobile phones to see the QR code information in the box and facilitate users to scan in any use situation.

However, in recent years, the camera focusing speed of smart phones has improved rapidly, and the ability of the core processor to process images has gradually improved. Therefore, modern mobile phone code scanning does not need long-term focusing, even if it does, it can only be completed in less than one second.

At the same time, with the application of QR code becoming mainstream, app developers also improve the speed and success rate of code scanning by creating their own code scanning engine, instead of relying solely on the hardware level to complete the identification process-WeChat is one of them.

Although WeChat is not the first app to use QR code, it has to be admitted that it is the most frequent app to use QR code and scan code, which not only makes users think of WeChat once they mention "scan code", but also indirectly promotes WeChat’s development of scan code technology.

Before QBar came out, there were mainly two kinds of code scanning engines, zxing and zbar. These two engines have different advantages, but both have their own shortcomings. At the same time, these two engines have more restrictions on barcode recognition than QR codes.

In 2016, the WeChat technical team introduced the working principle of QBar code scanning engine in a tweet published by WeChat official account WeChat School.

Compared with the traditional code scanning method, QBar will screen out the barcode/QR code content through the pre-judgment algorithm when scanning the code page, quickly identify the graphic code information in front of the screen through scanning the page, and then decode the image through QBar engine to output the final result.

In other words, when the user opens the code scanning page, as long as there is a barcode or two-dimensional code image in the frame, the system has already started to predict the user’s code scanning target and start to classify and identify it.

GIF can be recognized only in one corner (using WeChat scan function)

And because the QR code itself also has a fault-tolerant mechanism.(Originally designed to make the QR code work normally under damage)In fact, the camera does not need to compare the complete QR code, just find the key points of the QR code within the fault-tolerant range to identify it. Combined with the characteristics of QBar engine, the code scanning camera can identify and decode the QR code and its key information in one second by predicting and screening it.

Flow chart of WeChat code scanning prediction module, picture from: WeChat School

The recognition principle announced by WeChat seems complicated, but in modern smart phones, these tasks can only be completed in a few milliseconds. According to the reference data of "WeChat School",The decoding time of WeChat on iOS client is 5 milliseconds, and that of Android client is 12 milliseconds..

As for why the code scanning speed of iOS devices is faster than that of Android, this may be related to the decoding performance between iOS and Android devices at that time.

IPhone 11 Pro Max uses WeChat code scanning speed (slightly accelerated due to the number of GIF frames).

In the test in the daylight environment, the iPhone using A13 processor has indeed completed the recognition before focusing, and even the iPhone 7 in 2016 can achieve the "one-stroke scanning" response; The Android flagship using Snapdragon 865 also responds very quickly, but there is a slight speed gap compared with iOS.

If the iPhone scan code is "complete identification before you see it clearly", then Android is "complete identification immediately after you see it clearly".

The difference between the two is only in milliseconds.

One plus eight uses the code scanning speed of WeChat (slightly accelerated due to the number of GIF frames)

However, although the scanning speed of Android is slightly lower than that of iOS, compared with the speed difference between the two camps five years ago, the improvement of Android has been very obvious, which is almost the same as the recognition speed of iOS. If you don’t pay attention, you can hardly see the difference between the two.

Therefore, the recognition time of the past 5/12 milliseconds is not absolute, and they will change with the iteration of mobile phone hardware and soft algorithm.

It is worth mentioning that when using Android devices to scan multiple QR codes at the same time, multiple QR codes in the screen will be identified together, and then an entrance will be provided for users to choose their own objects; Although the recognition speed of iOS is faster, when faced with multiple QR codes, the system chooses one more.

Wechat without a fixed scanning frame can identify multiple QR codes at the same time (note: at present, this function is only tested in gray scale in some Android clients)

In addition to WeChat, Alipay also uses a full-screen scan similar to WeChat. Although its recognition speed is slightly slower than WeChat, it can also achieve the level of recognition by raising your hand.

According to the technical documents shared by CSDN users, Alipay’s code scanning function is integrated by libqrencode library. Although it is not Qbar of WeChat, its recognition speed under deep optimization can also be calculated in milliseconds.

With a more perfect algorithm engine and hardware decoding ability, mobile phones have become "sensitive" to the identification of QR codes, and they can quickly identify the contents of the codes without high-definition images.

In this way, the box used to fix the focus in the past will naturally be replaced by full-screen scanning.

Alipay’s recognition speed is also very fast (iPhone 11 Pro Max test).

The changes in the form of code scanning are particularly obvious in the apps with more code scanning behaviors such as WeChat, Alipay and Weibo.

Users can quickly complete code scanning transactions on WeChat and Alipay; Weibo allows users to quickly complete the two-step verification of code scanning.

The change of code scanning speed and accuracy depends on the improvement of code scanning engine and algorithm by several head enterprises, but from the side, it actually benefits from the continuous upgrading of mobile phone hard power. Only a camera with higher resolution and a processor with better computing performance can carry more complex decoding engines and algorithms and realize millisecond scanning code recognition.

IPhone 7 and the old version of WeChat scan box

From the evolution of the code scanning page, it can be seen that the code scanning efficiency of mobile phones is constantly improving, and commonly used apps can complete scanning without aligning codes when scanning codes. Then let’s look back, is the most primitive scanning code box still meaningful?

Actually, there is.

First of all, the current retention rate of old equipment is high, and the service life of smart phones is generally 2 to 3 years, or even 4 to 5 years. The focusing and recognition capabilities of old phones are not as good as those of new phones.

The function of the scanning box, as mentioned above, is convenient for the old mobile phone to quickly find the focus and improve the scanning speed and accuracy of the QR code, and it can also intuitively guide the user to aim the mobile phone at the code scanning, which actually indirectly improves the recognition efficiency of the old mobile phone every time it scans the code.

Although JD.COM and Taobao scan codes are full screen, they still need to be scanned in the frame.

In addition, although WeChat has its own code scanning engine, not all app developers have the ability to develop engines or specially optimize engines.

For the app with little demand for code scanning, the scanning function is mainly to scan the QR code, and the scanning success rate is more important than the speed. Therefore, under the premise of not optimizing the recognition engine, using the original in-frame scanning can ensure that both old and new devices have a high recognition success rate.

The popularity of two-dimensional code greatly simplifies our operation in inquiry, payment and registration, and the mobile phone used to scan it is also becoming efficient and diversified with the upgrading of decoding ability of software and hardware.

Today’s code scanning page can scan more than two-dimensional code, and it can also be combined with neural network to recognize things. According to the introduction of the latest function document of WeChat, based on 850,000 plant image data provided by Kunming Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences, at present, the sweeping function can identify more than 36,000 plants, which basically covers the data of flowers and trees we see every day.

It can be seen that the code scanning page is carrying more functions with more meta-algorithms.

For this reason, the scanning code box used to guide users and improve the focusing speed of equipment in the past has gradually withdrawn from the stage with the algorithm upgrade, hardware iteration and the scanning code page supporting more scanning targets. howeverIt didn’t really leave us, just evolved from 1:1 in the past to the same proportion as the mobile phone screen..

Ada Choi faces lifelong paralysis? My father-in-law thundered: This is a rumor! (figure)

      Ada Choi

Yesterday (8th), a surprising news broke out in the Hong Kong media: Ada Choi and her husband, Max Zhang, were newly married, but they suffered from severe back pain during their honeymoon. After examination, they found that they suffered from "ankylosing spondylitis" and might even be paralyzed for life. Ada Choi wailed for two days. In this regard, the reporter immediately contacted the brokerage company in Ada Choi and the broker in Max Zhang, and they both strongly denied this matter. After hearing this, Ada Choi’s father-in-law shouted angrily on the other end of the phone: "Rumors! All rumors! "

    Exposure may be lifelong paralysis.

A Hong Kong media report published yesterday said that Ada Choi was like a bolt from the blue when she learned that she was suffering from ankylosing spondylitis, and the news that she might be paralyzed for life made her desperate. She also cried at home for two days. Because she was unwilling to let her beautiful life go away like this, and many people around her kept comforting and encouraging her, she finally decided to stand up bravely and break through the predicament. She stayed up all night online to trace the cause, hoping to find out the truth. After a difficult period of time, Ada Choi went to the hospital for examination again, only to know that things were not as serious as expected. The doctor told her that her condition was in the early stage, and she could definitely have children in the future, and filming would not be affected. After learning this good news, Ada Choi is very grateful for the care and support of his friends in times of trouble, and is confident to defeat the disease!

In the same boat as Jay Chou.

Coincidentally, in this report, Jay Chou was actually pulled down. The report said that when looking for the cause in Ada Choi, I accidentally discovered that Jay Chou was in the same boat, and the other party was exempted from military service because of this disease. Seeing that Jay Chou is now proficient in playing basketball and racing, Ada Choi regained her confidence and cleared her doubts, and she was no longer afraid of this "ankylosing spondylitis". The support of relatives and friends also made her understand that she could not give up easily. Some netizens encouraged Ada Choi not to give up: "Although ankylosing spondylitis is a very troublesome disease, it is generally hereditary, and Jay Chou also has it. Now it is not the same as living well!"

The brokerage company denied getting sick.

As for Ada Choi’s serious illness, the reporter contacted the brokerage company in Ada Choi for the first time yesterday. Unexpectedly, when the reporter explained the situation, the other party was very shocked: "I have never heard of such a thing? She has always been in good health, how can she get sick! " She also told reporters that Ada Choi’s agent, Chen Ruolan, has been on a business trip abroad recently and won’t be back until the 13th. She has never heard of Ada Choi’s serious illness. Subsequently, the reporter contacted Wei Xin, the agent of Ada Choi’s husband Max Zhang, trying to learn the truth from him. "Ada Choi has ankylosing spondylitis? Really? There is no such thing! I have been very busy recently, and I haven’t contacted Max Zhang for a long time, but I have never heard of such a thing! " Both of them denied Ada Choi’s illness. Finally, the reporter tried his best to contact Ada Choi’s father-in-law and wanted to ask him if he knew Ada Choi’s physical condition. After hearing this, the other party was very excited and shouted loudly on the phone: "Rumors! All rumors! " Then he hung up the phone. When the reporter called him again, he still looked very angry: "Where did you hear that? It’s all nonsense, she is in good health, thank you for your concern! "

30 years after foreign pharmaceutical companies entered China, Lilly, Pfizer and Merck’s new ways of playing.

This article comes from WeChat WeChat official account:Deep blue view (id: mic-sh 366), Author: Gao Yi, editor: Wang Chen, head picture from: vision china.

In May, 2023, with the latest data of the most Alzheimer’s disease drug from Lilly, this century-old pharmaceutical company continued to sound the upward horn, and its market value climbed to the $400 billion mark, becoming the most valuable pure drug enterprise in history.

When the stories in the field of cancer were exhausted, the investors on Wall Street found the track of "losing weight" and continued to write the myth that the pharmaceutical industry will always go up, which also contributed to the market value growth of Novo Nordisk and Lilly this year. Years of hard work in the CNS field has added a icing on the cake to Lilly.

However, Lilly global is flourishing, and the voice of Lilly China seems to be getting smaller and smaller this year.

Lilly’s last big event in China was the 2022 new medical insurance catalogue at the beginning of this year. Four new products/indications successfully entered medical insurance, including two cooperative products from Cinda. In the past year, the only pipeline renewal that can be seen in China, one is RET inhibitor and the other is a hair loss product, which obviously goes against the thickness of Lilly global’s powerful product pipeline.

Source: official website, Jibao finishing

From the time point of view, Lilly is one of the first batch of big manufacturers to bet on China. As early as 2012, Lilly moved its R&D center to China, trying to speed up the listing of global products in China. However, the R&D center in China District opened early and closed early. Perhaps it is the long-term single-digit income ratio in China District, which makes this MNC factory unwilling to invest more energy in cultivation; The rise of local enterprises in these years has also had some run-on effects on foreign enterprises to some extent. In 2022, Lilly’s China business contracted to 1.453 billion US dollars, down by 10 percentage points.(Source: Huachuang Securities).

More than courtesy, under the double pressure of competition between VBP and local enterprises in the past two years, the domestic business of multinational giants has shrunk. One is that the speed of introducing products from foreign companies is slower than in previous years, and the other is that the demand for talents is becoming more and more Buddhist.

A headhunter said that since the second half of last year, the recruitment needs of foreign pharmaceutical companies in all functions, whether business or clinical, have declined; Some non-business core positions that were quite popular a few years ago(such as "digital innovation", etc.)In the past two years, it has almost disappeared completely.

The basic executive positions such as medical representatives were originally the most mobile, but the post pattern has not changed much in the past two years. A person who pays attention to this kind of market mentioned that this is related to the slow iteration of new products in the past two years. Even if new products are listed, they are basically handed over to the original team to do it together. For example, BMS set up a separate team for PD-1 in 2018, which has not been seen in the last two years.

However, although Lilly’s pharmaceutical business in China is operated by Buddhism, it does not prevent Lilly from embracing the rapid growth of this emerging domestic market in other ways. For example, Lilly cooperates with Hutchison and Cinda to help them bring their products to the market, even to Europe and America, and use the resources of their own big factories to earn a share of the money; Another example is LAV, which is synonymous with the success of domestic biomedical first-level investment.

Neither the introduction/authorized cooperation nor the next incubation is exclusive to Lilly. Other multinational pharmaceutical companies have been running in China for nearly 30 years, and now they are slowly adapting to the ever-changing new market with some comfortable postures.

First, "retreat to the high-end route"

In January, 2023, the annual meeting of Huizhi, which was formed by the merger of Pfizer’s mature business units Puqiang and Mylan, was held in Macau, with an exceptionally grand scale.

Behind the luxury annual meeting is its solid growth. According to a participant, Huizhi’s in-hospital sales data this year is obviously better than expected, and the business authorities dare not talk about the specific figures too high-profile, but only give a growth curve that looks obviously upward. Last year’s Huizhi, the bonuses of the sales teams were also exceptionally good.

The number of hospital growth data of Huizhi China is unknown, but from the financial report of Huizhi last year, Greater China was in Q4 last year.(after the epidemic)Year-on-year growth reached 10%. Last year, China earned 2.201 billion US dollars, making it the only market with positive year-on-year growth in net profit.

The main driver of the growth of Huizhi China is Lipitor.(atorvastatin)Luo huoxi(amlodipine)And Xanax(Alprazolam)Among them, the first two were included in the national procurement catalogue long ago. This makes the whole market rethink a question:Is volume a good business after all?

Although the head foreign companies represented by Pfizer and AstraZeneca have launched a series of "grassroots" movements in the past few years, in 2021, Pfizer’s grassroots team reached 600 people, and AstraZeneca’s county team reached a maximum of 4,500 people.

At first, everyone’s idea was to be in a vast market with a super large base. Every 1 percentage point increase in penetration rate is a big increase in the overall scale. However, the following nationwide procurement with quantity not only greatly reduced the profit margin of drugs, but also introduced a large number of "barefoot" players who had never paved the way for the market, which made the "grass-roots strategy" of these large foreign companies a decoration.

Considering the welfare and per capita output, the sales efficiency of foreign pharmaceutical companies is inherently inferior to that of local players, so they can only "retreat" to the high-end market.

Of course, choosing a "high-end market" also requires selective capital. "High-end" doesn’t really mean that products are much higher than competitors in quality and clinical data, but more is a process of brand and doctor-patient psychological cognition, which is inseparable from the long-term market education made by these big manufacturers and the dozens of academic forums that have been smashed in the past decade.

Therefore, sales is not a simple "department meeting" and a dinner party. Whether it is a foreign pharmaceutical company or a local rising star, if you really value your products, the work of the marketing department is indispensable. It should be pointed out that this budget often needs to be integrated into the pricing of a drug.

Both centralized purchasing and medical insurance negotiation can solve the problem of "accessibility" to a certain extent, but the effective use of drugs also needs the promotion of pharmaceutical companies themselves.

Back to Pfizer’s business in China, as long as this "high-end" strategy can still operate normally at present, new products from global will be continuously injected and then profits will be contributed to the world.

This kind of "China agent of multinational pharmaceutical companies" business is also the most classic and good game for foreign pharmaceutical companies. Pfizer is doing it, and Takeda, Novartis, GSK and so on are basically following this strategy at present.

When the global products of these multinational pharmaceutical companies are not strong enough, these companies will also make some deeper attempts in China.

Second, BD cooperates to make a fire by the stove.

Among them, the most representative belongs to Merck.

Although the ceiling of tumor immunotherapy and drug K have now become the proper "drug king", Merck has actually had nothing to do with the treatment field of tumor for a long time.

Merck secured the TOP5 position in the world with simvastatin and losartan. Since then, it has been supported by two major categories: anti-infection and vaccine, and has made heavy income in several sub-sectors such as AIDS, hepatitis C and HPV. Therefore, even in the early 21st century, Roche’s three monoclonal antibodies have already begun to take shape, but the proud Merck seems to have no need to know what antibody drugs are, so he met Schering-Plough.(K medicine source prescription)Before, there were almost no macromolecular products in Merck’s laboratory.

In the second decade, biopharmaceuticals slowly moved to the center of the stage. Half of the TOP10 best-selling products in the world were protein drugs, and Merck himself tasted the sweetness of K drugs. However, the cultivation cycle of biomedical technology needs to be calculated in ten years. It is not easy for Merck, which lacks macromolecular genes, to come up with a mature antibody drug platform to adapt to the pipeline development of such a billion-dollar giant in a short time.

So,When ADC took over the immune products and went to the foreground, Merck, who couldn’t wait, had to put down his body and seek external cooperation.

Therefore, Merck found Seagen, the "originator of ADC", because of his great family business. However, Seagen, whose price has been difficult to negotiate, ended up with Pfizer, which paid an extra $12 billion directly to intercept Hu Merck.

Merck, on the other hand, had to focus on Collen, an old friend of China, and directly won nine ADC molecules in one breath, which was less than a quarter of Seagen’s acquisition even if all the total package prices were included. Merck’s deal could not be said to be uneconomical.

In May this year, Ms. Ji Juan, the head of Merck’s business development and authorization in Greater China, mentioned at the third Sequoia Global Medical and Health Industry Summit: "Merck’s product introduction is distributed in various treatment fields, clinical stages and different mechanisms." Merck will not only focus on one or two big therapeutic fields now, as long as things are good, it can be digested. To some extent, it also reflects the comprehensiveness of large factories.

Merck’s eclectic products contributed half of the company’s revenue last year. If the ADC field continues to deepen and become more and more accepted by the global market, a considerable part of Merck’s tens of billions of dollars in revenue in the future may come from laboratories in China.

With the domestic R&D-clinical capability reaching a higher level, it is not uncommon for China to feed back the world.License out has also become a commonplace topic. But an interesting point is that the number of domestic and foreign authorizations and the total amount of cooperation are increasing, but the down payment is decreasing.

On the one hand, "returns" have become more frequent in the past two years, such as the ADC of Genting Xinyao, the PD-1 of Cinda, and the BTK of Nuocheng Jianhua, which has reduced the certainty of this authorized cooperation;

On the other hand, whether local enterprises or partners, everyone is more willing to seek innovation in the model, and both sides make a concession and take what they need to tell the story more satisfactorily. For example, Cinda and Sanofi, and for example, Merck and Columbine Botai, both of which are mixed with equity transactions.

However, in a mature market, the BD transaction of License in/out itself is a very common thing. The details such as transaction amount, down payment, object and method only reflect the strategic choice of participants at this time node. When the valuation is high, the efficiency of self-research is higher than that of external mergers and acquisitions, and when the industry is deserted, large companies with spare money are more suitable for expansion.(rather than self-research).

The diversification and normalization of BD cooperation shows that the biomedical market in China is slowly maturing.

Third, hatch in person

After the dissolution of AstraZeneca China R&D Center, it became Di Zhe. After running for less than three years, it landed in science and technology innovation board and rose from the bottom of last year, and its share price tripled at the highest. AstraZeneca, as a major shareholder accounting for 26% of the shares, in addition to the premium on financial investment, it can carry out in-depth cooperation on the product pipeline through Dizhe in the future.

More importantly, AstraZeneca can use the business card Dizhe to do some deeper cooperation in finance and project mergers and acquisitions in the future. A typical example is AstraZeneca Zhongjin Medical Industry Fund, which was established with CICC the year before last. It is very comfortable in fundraising and investment, and currently holds 13 medical and medical projects. AstraZeneca’s business in China is increasingly diversified.

In addition to AstraZeneca, Deqi Medicine, which was established in 2016 with the support of Xinji Medicine, a leading global biopharmaceutical company, also has a little "incubation nature".

The founder of Deqi Medicine comes from the R&D executives of Xinji. Half of the main projects come from Xinji, and some of the money from Angel Wheel just landed is given by Xinji. However, considering that Xinji’s share in Deqi was less than 6% at the time of IPO, it was not controlled, but it was an enterprise hatched by Xinji after all.

What can be controlled is called "incubation", and what can’t be controlled can only be called "deep cooperation"In addition to Deqi, another big hand of Xinji is Baekje.

In 2017, Xinji awarded a cooperation with a total amount of US$ 1.393 billion, which not only helped Baekje just listed on the US stock market, but also boosted its prosperity. At the same time, it used its own mature products and the commercialization team of Xinji Company acquired by Baekje in China to promote Baekje to establish a commercialization system. After this cooperation, Baekje was arrogant all the way, and the market value of US stocks almost caught up with Japan’s MNC giant Takeda. However, Xinji itself sold herself to BMS in 2019, and this cooperation was suspended. The "breakup" between Xinji and Baekje may have been doomed.

Amgen replaced Xinji and continued to cooperate with Baekje in depth, which is also "giving money and products". Perhaps it is more optimistic about the potential of this company. Unlike Xinji, Amgen directly turned itself into a major shareholder of Baekje.

It is worth mentioning that nowadays, the cooperation between multinational pharmaceutical companies and local companies is more and more diversified, not limited to one or two ways.

For example, Baekje and Amgen are deeply bound, and Baekje also supports the construction of its tumor pipeline to Novartis License out products, while the latter, while the pipeline is supplemented, can also empower Baekje to commercialize in the world;

Furthermore, AstraZeneca’s cooperation with the local area can be described as "dazzling": green leaf exchange products, binding with Internet channel geeks, introducing the ADC of No.1 and No.3, and introducing the ADC of Connoa/Lepu Bio at the same time … As for other sales and market cooperation, there are countless more.

The reason why foreign companies are more and more willing to play is that the rules of the game are more and more fair.

In the past two decades, a few domestic enterprises have the ability to develop compound technology to meet the differentiated needs of the low-level market that foreign pharmaceutical companies cannot cover. Most so-called pharmaceutical companies only earn coins in the circulation field.

With the improvement of the independent ability of the pharmaceutical industry, the wave of innovation is superimposed. From following imitation to innovation self-sufficiency to "in China for global", the productivity of foreign companies’ products is no longer suppressed, and the policy protection of local pharmaceutical companies is becoming more and more negligible. Everyone is playing together at the same level and conditions.

Behind this is the growing maturity of the entire pharmaceutical industry in China.

Maturity also means that local pharmaceutical companies need to abandon the luck of "home advantage" and come up with 100% strength to compete with these large foreign companies with a history of 100 years.

Investigation report on the professional groups of take-away riders in China

In recent years, the progress of Internet technology and the transformation and upgrading of mass consumption have spawned a large number of emerging occupations with diverse forms and fine division of labor. These emerging occupations have been officially incorporated into China’s occupational map since they were announced to the public by the National Bureau of Statistics in 2019. As a typical representative of these new occupations, take-away riders have played an important role in promoting the employment of migrant workers and college students, improving the employment quality of the poor and meeting the living needs of the people. However, the flexible employment and management methods of take-away riders have also brought new problems to the protection of workers’ rights and interests and the construction of social protection system.

Come and learn about this survey report on the professional group of takeaway riders with Xiaobian today ~!

Data description

The data used in this report mainly comes from the national questionnaire survey of take-away riders’ professional groups (hereinafter referred to as the "questionnaire survey"), which was jointly organized and implemented by the research group and the Institute of Sociology of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. The survey targets are people aged 18-45 who are engaged in take-away riders’ occupation from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) in China. The survey time is October 2020, and the questionnaire was distributed through Tencent’s questionnaire platform. After data cleaning, a total of 6,190 valid samples were obtained. In addition, the government questionnaire data is used as a supplement to help understand the employment status of emerging professional groups and the relevant management and service measures for this group.

01. Current situation of professional groups of take-away riders

Group characteristics

According to the survey data, 90.8% of the samples are men and 9.2% are women. Agricultural registered permanent residence accounted for 68.9% and non-agricultural registered permanent residence accounted for 29.1%. As can be seen from Figure 1, in terms of the education level of the professional group of take-away riders, 47.1% are high school, technical secondary school or vocational high school, 24.0% are junior high school, 5.0% are primary school or below, 16.8% are junior college, and 7.1% are undergraduate or above. It can be seen that the education level of the professional groups of take-away riders in China is generally low, which also reflects that the professional threshold of take-away riders is low and there is no high skill.

Looking Up’s cold and Jason Wu’s joining failed to save the market.

  Hope is pinned on "Nezha"

Looking Up failed to become an explosion

One’s name is on the list of successful candidates.

  Yangcheng Evening News reporter Lili

Last weekend, the summer file ushered in a major domestic film — — Deng Chao and Yu Baimei cooperated for the third time in Looking Up. The film was once optimistic about the box office potential because of its close focus on educational hot issues. But unfortunately, after the three-day screening on the first weekend, the hope that the market was caught on fire was dashed again.

If there is no reference, there is no basis for saying that this year’s summer movies are too weak, but who made last year’s and the year before last summer’s summer movies too strong! In 2017, the total box office of Wolf Warriors 2 was 5.68 billion yuan, and in 2018, the total box office of Dying to Survive was 3.07 billion yuan. However, insiders generally predict that none of the summer movies released at present is expected to reach a similar volume.

Let’s start with Dying to Survive. Last year, the film grossed 323 million yuan on the first day of the summer file. This summer’s Looking Up’s first day box office was only 161 million yuan, about half of the former; Moreover, the score of douban in Dying to Survive is 9.0, while that in Looking Up is only 6.5. As a discussion on the reality of a certain field of society, the reputation will undoubtedly directly affect the box office prospects of the film. Dying to Survive’s attendance rate on weekdays is still as high as over 20%, while Looking Up’s attendance rate on Monday is only 10.8%. Based on this speculation, the film is likely to end up in the order of 1 billion yuan, just like "Anti-drug 2", which has been released for 14 days with a box office of 1.088 billion yuan.

Let’s take a look at the 2017 summer champion "Wolf Warriors 2". The box office of the film was not high on the first day, only 102 million yuan, but it went against the market: 214 million yuan on the second day, 312 million yuan on the third day, and reached the goal of 2 billion yuan eight days later. Can Looking Up, which also owns Jason Wu, take the same route? Considering the irreproducibility of the theme appeal of Wolf Warriors 2, this possibility is very small.

  Who can take the stick?

Among the following domestic films, there are two that are most likely to catch fire: one is Ne Zha, which is shown in advance in the whole country, and both the plot and the technology are considered to represent the highest level of domestic cartoons at present. The film will be officially released on July 26, and the current Douban score is 8.7. The other is "Hero of Fire", which was released on August 1st. This film, featuring firefighters, is adapted from a real event. At present, it has only been shown on a small scale in the industry. It is said that the story is "burning and tearing". It remains to be seen whether these two films can finally succeed in the summer file "explosion".

2024 Buick Regal, the 1.5T version cancels this configuration, and the fuel consumption has increased.

(Key words: 6th generation, E2XX platform, German development, 50th anniversary of vehicle model, two kinds of power, 9AT)

Buick Regal is a heavyweight model in the domestic mid-level car market. Its history can be traced back to 1973. This year marks the 50th anniversary of Regal, and it has been in China for 24 years. However, under the impact of new energy vehicles, its competitiveness has declined, so Buick has launched a new version in time. Besides introducing a new family-style front face, what changes have been made to the 2024 model? Why is Regal a "German car" with an American logo? Let’s analyze it in detail.

The history of Regal cars, why is the current generation a pure "German car"?

Regal is a medium-sized car series that Buick has been selling since 1973. It was first launched as a sub-model of Buick Century. Compared with the century, Regal’s shape is more sporty.Designed for young consumersAt present, it has developed to the sixth generation, but with the changes in the automobile market and the adjustment of the product line, the Regal market is shrinking step by step around the world. By 2023, Regal will only be produced in China, and Regal in other regions has been discontinued.

The first generation of models was launched by Buick in response to Pontiac Grand Prix and Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, and it was positioned as a luxury coupe. In 1978, Buick officially launched an independent Regal model, which was smaller in size than the previous generation and equipped with V6 engine as standard, with lower positioning, but more fun to drive.

In order to show the brand’s proud achievements in nascar racing, Buick introduced the Grand National, T-Type and limited production versions of GNX in the 1980s. The GNX version was built in cooperation with McLaren, which was a high-performance car. The maximum power of 300 horsepower made this car faster than Ferrari and Porsche at that time, and the Regal model was a smash hit.

In the 1990s, consumers preferred practical large-space models. The third generation model was a four-door sedan, which completely replaced the coupe. In 1997, Buick launched the fourth generation Regal, which shared the platform with the century again. In 1999, it was introduced to China by Shanghai GM and became the first generation of domestic Regal.

In 2008, Buick introduced the new five generations of Regal, and at this time, Regal in North America had stopped production, so SAIC-GM directly introduced Insignia from Opel, re-trained and branded Buick. At that time, Opel belonged to General Motors, but as a German brand, its R&D base and production base were located in Germany. Therefore, since the fifth generation, Regal has become a "German car". The sixth generation Regal was launched in 2018 and is still based on the new Opel Insignia.

Practicality of 2024 Buick Regal 25T Premium Edition (159,800)

First driving

From the model history, Regal has always been a Buick family sports car, which is different from Century/LaCrosse. The 2024 model still belongs to the sixth generation model. Opel is responsible for the research and development of this car. The suspension is the combination of the common front McPherson and rear multi-link independent suspension. The subframe adopts a full-frame structure, and there are two reinforcing bars in the middle of the car body to increase the torsional rigidity.

The hanging lower arm is welded by double-layer stamping, with a circular hollowing design to reduce the weight. The outer metal of the hydraulic bushing is made of aluminum alloy, and the front and rear are equipped with anti-roll bars, which conforms to the characteristics of European cars and is worthy of recognition in terms of handling.

Compared with the old model, the power has not changed. The 25T version is the old 552T version. The maximum power of the 1.5T four-cylinder engine is 169 HP, and the peak torque is 250Nm, which reaches the mainstream power data of the 1.5T engine. The all-aluminum design reduces the weight, accelerates for 9.1 seconds per 100 kilometers, and has a top speed of 205km/h, which is suitable for home use.

Due to the cancellation of the active closed air intake grille in the 2024 model 1.5T, the wind resistance at low speed is slightly higher, and the fuel consumption of WLTC per 100 kilometers increases by 0.13L, reaching 6.89L.

Second ride

The size of the new model has not changed, with the length, width and height of 4.904 meters, 1.863 meters and 1.461 meters respectively, and the wheelbase of 2.829 meters. The second row of leg space is enough. The 2024 model comes standard with electric sunroof, PM2.5 filter device and 8-inch touch screen, which supports Apple Carplay and Baidu Carlife, OTA upgrade, 4G car networking, WIfi hotspot, mobile APP remote control, etc., and cancels voice control multimedia and telephone. The sports seat with a mix of suede and leather was changed into a leather-like seat.

Third auxiliary driving/parking

Assisted driving is a shortcoming of traditional brands. The 1.5T model only has the functions of cruise control and road rescue call, but has no functions such as active braking and collision warning. Parking is equipped with a single camera reversing image and rear parking radar, which is different from the common 360-degree panoramic or 540-degree transparent chassis.

Car detective’s point of view:There are only two configurations in the 2024 model. With the guide price lowered, the configuration is "omitted" compared with the old model. The biggest change of the new model is the front face, and the design is quite controversial. Of course, different people have different opinions on aesthetics. What do you think of the 2024 Regal? Welcome to discuss.

2025 Porsche Taycan unveiled

On February 7th, the Porsche Taycan has been well received overall since its launch in 2019, but its range has been criticized, which is slightly inferior to that of luxury electric vehicles of the same level. The 2025 Taycan will significantly improve its range and performance, while optimizing its appearance and technology configuration.

In terms of appearance, the new Taycan has not changed much, mainly including new LED headlights and improved front fenders. The high-end version will have a new light strip running through the rear of the car, printed with a glowing red "PORSCHE" logo, and the low-end model will also be available for a fee. The TurboS will also add decorative vents on either side of the rear bumper, which will not have heat dissipation but are said to improve aerodynamic performance.

All versions of the Taycan will be replaced with new batteries. The capacity of the standard version has been increased to 83.6kWh. The optional high-performance battery pack is optional on the Taycan and 4S models, and the Turbo model is standard, and the capacity has been increased to 97.0kWh. The new battery uses a chemical formula with a higher nickel content, which significantly improves the capacity while maintaining the same size as the old model. Thanks to this, the new high-performance battery pack is about 9kg lighter than the old model. Although the new car configuration has been improved, the TurboS has reduced the curb weight by about 15kg.

Charging speeds have also been increased, with peak power up to 320 kilowatts, provided that it is connected to a powerful enough 800-volt DC fast charging pile. Fast charging is possible even when the battery is at a low temperature. The new car will also come standard with a 150-kilowatt DC/DC converter, further enhancing charging speeds on the 400-volt network.

Thanks to improved powertrain efficiency and a larger battery capacity, the new car’s range has also been improved. According to the European WLTP standard, the rear-drive version of the Taycan with a high-performance battery pack can reach a maximum range of 677 kilometers, an increase of 174 kilometers compared with the old model; the TurboS’s range has been increased from 467 kilometers to 631 kilometers.

Another major hardware change is the new rear motor, which is lighter and more powerful than before. It still has a two-speed transmission design to improve efficiency at high speeds. The rear-drive version maintains peak power at 402 horsepower, but no longer needs to activate ejection mode to get full power. Porsche estimates its 0-60 mph acceleration time at 4.5 seconds, which is 0.6 seconds faster than the old rear-drive version.

The power of the TurboS is increased, but it needs to be unlocked gradually by the driver. The base output of the two motors is increased to 764 horsepower, and the new "overspeed" function of the SportChrono package can release an additional 93 horsepower in 10 seconds, which is activated by the button on the steering wheel driving mode selector. The ejection mode can further release the power, and the peak power is increased to 938 horsepower and the peak torque reaches 1100 Nm (the corresponding figures for the old TurboS are 750 horsepower and 1,050 Nm).

In addition to the base model and TurboS, the Taycan 4S and Taycan Turbo will also continue to be available, the specific parameters have not been announced yet. Both the Taycan sedan and the CrossTurismo wagon will be available in the United States, but the latter does not have a rear-drive version.

Other hardware upgrades include air suspension and adaptive shock absorbers as standard in all versions. The anti-roll bar system is still available as an option, but the 48-volt electrical system is replaced by a new electro-hydraulic ActiveRide system. As well as suppressing roll, the system compensates for pitches and nods during acceleration and braking, and provides a so-called "lean-in" feature that allows the Taycan to tilt slightly when cornering (similar features are already available on some Mercedes models). Unfortunately, the new Taycan still does not have a single-pedal driving mode, which Porsche believes will affect the purity of the driving experience.

The interior of the new car has changed very little. New filters have been added to the optional passenger side screen, which can only be seen from the passenger seat, allowing for legal video playback while driving. The digital dashboard has also been redesigned, and can now display a prediction of the maximum charging speed supported by the car based on the current battery condition. The user interface features a new generation of AppleCarPlay +, which can control functions such as air conditioning. Drivers using Porsche’s own navigation system can also plan detailed routes around charging stations and target battery levels.

The price of the new car has also risen, the entry-level rear drive Taycan is now priced at $101,395 (IT home note: currently about 731,000 yuan), Taycan4S is priced at $120,495 (currently about 869,000 yuan), TaycanTurbo is priced at $175,595 (currently about 1.266 million yuan), TaycanTurboS is priced at $210,995 (currently about 1.521 million yuan), the cheapest is $113,095 (currently about 815,000 yuan) Taycan4CrossTurismo, the new car from the summer delivery.

Cool and smooth, test drive Changan Mazda CX-5 2.5L

[Test drive experience] I am a "choice syndrome" sufferer, struggling to face too many choices every day, which clothes to wear, what to eat for breakfast and lunch, what kind of words to use to describe a car… In order to deal with it, I adopt the "no choice" approach – wear whatever clothes you see, eat the same meal every day, and find inspiration when writing articles. Many people also have the same confusion when shopping for a car. The more they see, the more undecided they are, and they are very envious of consumers who swipe their cards directly after taking a fancy. Of course, there is a necessary condition here, that is, the design of the car must be outstanding, and perhaps, the appearance can be achieved.

Maybe you will ask me, there have been so many Mazda CX-5 articles before, why is there another one? Oh, don’t worry about closing the browser, this CX-5 is not another CX-5, this is the first article about the test drive experience of the domestic CX-5, what I test drive is the 2.5L model that was not available in the previous imported version. Can the 2.5L with the maximum 196 horsepower make up for the small regret that the previous 2.0L engine power is slightly weaker? How is the workmanship of the domestic model? These must be your concerns.

The models of Changan Mazda CX-5 are richer than the imported version. Among the 6 models of the whole series, the highest two models are equipped with 2.5L engines, and the entry-level models of the whole series are also matched with a 6-speed engine. Mazda officials revealed that the domestic CX-5 will be officially launched on August 18. At present, we only have the official pre-sale price information: 18-260,000, which is highly coincident with the most competitive price range.

This engine has made great progress in parameters compared to Mazda’s previous generation 2.5L engine. The maximum power has jumped from 169 horsepower to 196 horsepower, and the maximum has also increased from 224 Nm to 252 Nm (from the old engine parameters). Such great progress is due to the application of the next series of new technologies of Chuangchi Blue Sky, of which the 13:1 high and 4-2-1 exhaust are the biggest contributors.

Smooth Chuangchi Blue Sky 6AT Transmission

The small serpentine handle has a very short stroke, as well as a crisp feel when changing gears. The handle is just right, and the gear is very clear. As long as you push it lightly, the handle fits into position by itself. You may wonder why I use so many words to describe a manual gearbox to describe a gear. But the truth is, although you don’t have to operate it as often as you operate a manual gearbox, a good feel is also a plus.

Power output characteristics with insufficient explosive force and smooth addition

Mazda Changan Mazda Mazda CX-52013 2.5L automatic four-wheel drive flagship

When driving on the road, the first thing I do is to take a kick of floor oil, please forgive my rudeness, but I really want to know what kind of push this 2.5L engine can bring. The result is not disappointing, just not surprising. If compared with the imported version of the 2.0L model that has been driven before, the power of the 2.5L model is indeed much stronger, and the acceleration feeling during high rotation is very continuous, but the power is evenly distributed in each speed range, not violent at all.

Mazda Changan Mazda Mazda CX-52013 2.5L automatic four-wheel drive flagship

If the experience stops there, then the conclusion will be that the power of this car is a bit inferior to the engine parameters. However, the truth is that smooth and fast power response is its specialty, and the violent acceleration will only go against it. Whether it is in daily driving or in violent aggressive driving, the power output can always be maintained in a highly linear and very smooth state. The test drive location is in the mountains at an altitude of about 900 meters, and the air pressure is low. When the test car comes to the editorial office, we will test it in Beijing, and then we will know its actual power level.

Mazda Changan Mazda Mazda CX-52013 2.5L automatic four-wheel drive flagship

The throttle is very responsive, a little deep, and the gearbox will downshift very aggressively and quickly, as if anticipating your command. You must be amazed, as I am, how this gearbox can move so gently, like a ballerina tiptoeing past you, you can’t even notice it. That’s all there is to the gearbox.

Mazda Changan Mazda Mazda CX-52013 2.5L automatic four-wheel drive flagship

This gearbox also has the ability to drop 4 gears. When cruising at about 70km/h, quickly press the accelerator to the end, and the gearbox will follow the most aggressive shift logic, jumping directly from 6th to 2nd gear. In manual mode, even if the tachometer pointer reaches the red line and no longer climbs, the gearbox will not automatically lift, fully implementing the driver’s intention. Although it is not as enjoyable to lift and lower gears in manual mode as to directly feed oil, on a curved mountain road, selecting the gear in advance can provide better protection for the power output when exiting the corner. If you want it, it should be better with a set of paddle shifters.

Steering and handling that evokes driving desire

Mazda Changan Mazda Mazda CX-52013 2.5L automatic four-wheel drive flagship

The steering accuracy of the CX-5 is not as good as that of a single car, but more like that of a sports sedan. Coupled with a well-supported system, it is an SUV that will stimulate your driving desire. Mazda says the suspension of the domestic CX-5 has been adjusted for road conditions in China to make it more comfortable. The current suspension performance feels well-balanced, and the road bumps are partially filtered, which can also convey enough road information to the driver while ensuring basic comfort.

Low fuel consumption is an important issue of Chuangchi’s blue sky concept, but unfortunately it was not tested this time

When the imported CX-5 arrived at the newsroom, we tested its fuel consumption, and the final results were amazing. Under the premise that most road conditions are very congested, and the average speed is only 18km/h, the 2.0L four-wheel drive CX-5 achieved an amazing fuel consumption of 9.63L/100km. It is not an exaggeration to call it the most fuel-efficient compact SUV.

Mazda Changan Mazda Mazda CX-52013 2.5L automatic four-wheel drive flagship

Mazda Changan Mazda Mazda CX-52013 2.5L automatic four-wheel drive flagship

With the i-ELOOP, the fuel consumption of the top model is even more worth looking forward to. In this test drive session, we spent a lot of time driving in a very intense way along the way, and during still shooting, the vehicle inevitably needs to idle for a long time, so accurate fuel consumption data cannot be obtained. However, I really want to know if this powertrain will have sharp low fuel consumption like the 2.0L model. We all look forward to the test car coming to the editorial department soon.

Di Lizheba’s selfie features are deep and delicate, and her heart is warm to remind fans to keep warm

1905 movie network news On October 10, Di Lizheba took a beautiful selfie and posted a warm-hearted message to remind fans, "The weather is getting colder… everyone pay attention to keep warm…". In the photo, Di Lizheba is wearing a black T-shirt and a shiny heart-shaped diamond-encrusted earring, which is very girly. In another photo, pretending to be angry is also very cute.

Users also couldn’t help but comment: "Beauty Crit", "It’s a sweet baby, that’s right, Didi takes care of herself".

Happy 37th Teachers’ Day! Andy Lau and Donnie Yen are teachers like this

1905 movie network feature On September 10, 2021, we ushered in the 37th Teachers’ Day. For thousands of years, countless writers and writers have written classic masterpieces praising teachers; in recent decades, a group of filmmakers have also created vivid and lively teacher images on the big screen with light and shadow.

For example, the sunny and cheerful physical education teacher in "Close to Your Heart", the "domineering" teacher who seems to be old-fashioned and impersonal in China, but is actually serious and responsible, and the stern head teacher who says nothing and is full of majesty in China are all remarkable images of screen teachers on the big screen.

Teachers are always a beam of light that illuminates the future of students. Teachers need to remember, and teachers’ kindness should be remembered. On the annual Teachers’ Day, we might as well look at the faces of educators on the big screen while remembering our youth and thanking teachers’ kindness!

01

At the 22nd Chinese Film Golden Rooster Awards, a film that focuses on the selfless dedication of teachers in mountainous areas swept four awards: Best Feature Film, Best Director, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress.

Zhang Meili (played) is a typical rural woman. After the loss of her husband and children, she devoted all her energy to the children in the village. Before the arrival of the volunteer teacher, she was the only teacher in the village school.

Although her cultural level is not high, she always treats every student with sincerity and enthusiasm, insisting on teaching them every bit of what she has learned.

In order to provide her children with a better learning environment, she sacrificed her dignity and sought funding. For the sake of the children’s long-term teachers, she resolutely gave up staying in Beijing and chose to return to the village to teach.

Zhang Meili’s interpretation is the perseverance, sincerity and simplicity of teachers in mountainous areas.

As a rural teacher, the volunteer teacher she plays is another kind of portrayal. She is from Beijing, can play the piano, can recite, is knowledgeable, and is generous. When she first arrived at the Loess Plateau, she had the idea of leaving because she was not comfortable with the soil, but when she really wanted to leave, she was hesitant to leave because of her students.

The volunteer teacher who once chose to bid farewell to rural teaching did not hesitate to return to this dusty land after Zhang Meili passed away unexpectedly, and consciously shouldered the heavy responsibility of disseminating knowledge to children.

The life of the rural teacher subtly changed the trajectory of her life, and she was enthusiastic and open-minded, and eventually became Zhang Meili’s "successor" to pass on the spark.

In the touching scene of the film, Zhang Meili said to the students affectionately, "People can be poor, but their ambitions cannot be short. Everyone must study hard, walk out of this mountain, get into a good university, and come back to build their hometown, so that they don’t have to eat potatoes every day, and they don’t have to be looked down upon by others…" The tearful admonition is her education to reverse the fate of her child’s life, and it also symbolizes the infinite expectations of a rural teacher for children.

Mention the impressive village teacher on screen, as well as the old professor played in "The Last Lesson."

The professor who was far away in a foreign country suffered from dementia due to a cerebral infarction, but the memory still stuck in his mind was the experience of teaching at Wangxi Village Primary School decades ago. Therefore, a group of grown-up students did their best to restore the changed classroom to its original state, hoping to return to the past with the teacher.

The prototype of Fan Wei’s character is Fang Pinger, a rural teacher who has been rooted in mountainous areas for nearly 40 years. In the play, the students go to great lengths to create artificial rain, the professor leaves in a small boat, and the students stand on the bridge to say goodbye, all based on the real experience of Fang teacher.

Mr. Fang often says, "I can’t let go of the children in the village, especially the left-behind children." This reflects Fan Wei’s role in the play, even when he retires, he never really let go of his thoughts about the students.

Due to the lack of educational resources for children in mountainous areas and the relatively backward educational facilities, the role of rural teachers is self-evident; while urban children are well-off, their growing pains are also entangled in them, and the teacher’s mission to lead students astray is also not light.

In the movie, Chen Xia, who plays the role, becomes a "spicy teacher". Because his students are brave and aggressive, addicted to games, or unable to focus, all of them are poor in their studies, which makes Chen Xia have to compete with this group of naughty teenagers. He even "fights" on campus and adopts extraordinary "alternative teaching".

Fortunately, Chen Xia’s "teaching" gradually worked. He resolved the knot in the students’ hearts, led them out of the vicious circle of "depravity", and finally won the applause and respect of the whole class.

In its bones, "Big Brother" tells the story of a teacher who protects his students and never gives up on every child. Similarly, there are some similarities.

In the movie, the music teacher played by Yan Zilang has to lead a group of useless students who are forced to participate in the "Blood Choir Experimental Project" due to trouble to complete a self-challenge.

In the face of a group of children who are tone-deaf and have no intention of learning, Mr. Yan can be said to have used 18 kinds of martial arts, such as walking blindfolded, playing with two people and three legs, or trying hard to persuade students to learn. He is enthusiastic about leading students to experience the frustration and joy of growth and encouraging them to move forward bravely.

The images of teachers on the screen were always different. Whether they were rural teachers, urban teachers, strict teachers, or loving teachers, their teaching intentions and teaching styles were different, but it was certain that they could always bring new hope to students and water their growth with love.

02

Every teacher’s teaching career has endless happiness and bitterness, and every actor who creates the "screen teacher", while pouring effort into the role, can also deeply feel the difficulty of educators.

Because of the distance between real life and the state of the character, Ni Ping is very stressed to play "Zhang Meili" bluntly. To this end, she has visited many primary schools to observe the little bits and pieces of rural teachers, and started by changing the voice and appearance to be as close to the character as possible.

Nearly 70 days of shooting time, almost all of which are five in the morning and ten in the evening, she shared, "This is the norm for rural teachers."

Fan Wei also confessed in "The Last Lesson" that in order to present the true state of old age, he has to wear makeup for two hours a day. During the shooting process, he can experience the difficulties of the teacher’s profession firsthand. "I especially admire rural teachers!"

"There are a lot of action scenes in this movie, including racing, blasting, and fighting, but the teacher’s setting makes it impossible for me to use weapons, so I can only use local materials, such as using stationery such as chalk to’partner ‘, which is quite difficult."

In addition, in order to play a better role as a music teacher, Andy Lau not only specifically followed the Hong Kong Children’s Choir to experience life, but also consulted professional conductors for conductor details and skillfully integrated them into the role creation.

It is worth noting that the image of screen teachers in recent years seems to be more profound. Whether it is Chen Xia played by Donnie Yen or Yan Zilang played by Andy Lau, their past hides an unknown side.

The former was a special forces soldier who had experienced the pain of war, and he was also a troubled teenager in his youth. He had always felt extremely guilty for "breaking" his classmates’ piano dreams with his own hands. The latter was bright and advocated that there should be no class, but he also escaped drunk driving due to poor teaching results.

It can be said that as teachers, they are completing their own salvation while teaching their students.

Regarding the expansion of the image of teachers in the film, Zhang Ningjuan, a domestic teaching researcher, concluded that "Chinese teachers on the screen" generally present a professional image that treats students with care, regards them as their own, treats teaching seriously and responsibly, is dedicated to work, and is much loved and respected.

However, with the surging of various social contradictions, the image of teachers on the screen has gradually changed from the original high-ranking to the present, paying more attention to communication and dialogue with students, and incorporating more social reality and personal emotional life into the image connotation. In other words, in future movies, the image of teachers may usher in richer connotations with social changes.

In any case, screen teachers are just a microcosm of thousands of educators. For this group of lovely people, what we should do is to transform knowledge into nourishment for life, learn to be grateful, and learn to contribute, in order to repay the teachers for their earnest teachings and their half-life dedication on the three-foot podium.
